St. Albans Home and Recreation Expo
Thank you to all who braved the wind and cold to come to the annual St. Albans Home & Recreation Expo this weekend. We had so many people visiting our booth to either find out more information about our services, or tell us what an amazing job we are doing.
Some of the most common questions we got asked at the homeshow were:
“What do you guys take?”
- We take pretty much everything but hazardous material, explosives, ammunition and oil drums which are not hollowed out.
“What do you do with my junk after you take it?”
- We try to donate as many items that are in good condition as possible, to Habitat for Humanity ReStore as well as Veterans in need.
“How big is your trailer?”
- The Captain trailer is 16 cubic yards which holds about 5-6 pickup truck loads.
“What areas do you service?”
- Our primary service locations are; St. Albans, South Burlington, Burlington, Williston, Milton, Essex, Colchester, Shelburne and fairfax, but we try to service as much of Vermont as possible.
We hope to see a lot of familiar faces this Saturday, March 24th for our Easter egg hunt and food drive at Georgia Self Storage. The food drive will benefit the Northwest Family Food Shelf of St. Albans. Join us from 11am-1pm for a fun filled day! We will have a ton of raffle prizes for everyone who donates food items.
